Singapore Hallyu Pop Fest 2018
Firstly, I would say that I was super lucky to get free tickets and to swap tickets from Day 3 to Day 2 with other people.
So I will talk about what happened during the whole day. If you are interested to see parts of the performance I have actually posted some short clips on Instagram so do go to my profile picture to watch!!
The showcase opens at 1pm but they stop the queue at 1130+am? I’m not really sure as I reached 10.30am. But I’m Super Glad that they started on time which was 1pm. The whole showcase ended 2.15pm.
I and my sister went to Popeye to eat our lunch and we walked around the shopping centre. But obviously the shopping centre is big but nothing much inside. We even went back and fore to the red carpet cause we were super bored. That’s why we went to queue super early but we cannot start the queue yet. ( I was annoyed by one of the security uncles that called us stupid cause we were waiting for the queue to start. 😒)
Back to the concert so the concert ticket states that the door opens at 6.30pm. Yes, it opens but we weren’t allowed to go in as we have to queue and sit by sequence by the ticket number. I sat at D3 where my ticket number shows 3371. The number started at 3290 so I’m all the way at the back even though I reach super early which was 430pm ( the time they start the queuing for the concert). But the queue stops at 6pm. Otherwise, you will have to queue at another lane whereby they do not care about the sequence. ( Do reach the queue before 6pm!!)
We waited from 6pm to 6.30pm. Only until 7.15pm, we manage to sit inside the stadium. Of cause Singaporean being kiasu 7.30 every stood up and started squeezing to the front. Honestly speaking, who doesn’t want to be the front. So went someone pushes from the back obviously we will push the front people. Front fifth row to the third row. That was how much I got pushed in front. I mean I’m not mad about it but people around me felt irritated and they said to stop pushing for a few times. So obviously being me I told them that people were pushing from the back. For me, I was standing right between like a group of friends. They told me to stop pushing but obviously, people behind me were pushing me to the front. So end up me being a bit nice I shifted one row back but obviously, they were pushing me to the back row.
Also, I feel like people wearing the headbands should stop. Having banners and poster I don’t mind because humans will get tired and they will put those things down. But the headband is there to obviously block people’s view especially for people that are more petite size.
I’m kind of sad that I don’t get to really enjoy the performance because I was too busy filming the performance. I guess this might be the reason why people will choose to get a seated seat than the standing pit. Even though the view is further.
Did I enjoy the concert? Kind of? I guess part of the reason is that I know most of the Kpop band and they perform everyone’s favourite songs. Today was totally an arm day for me holding my phone for the whole concert to film the performance.
So the aftermath of the whole Day 2 concert is that my neck and arms aches from filming and calves from standing the whole day. But I guess is all worth it because the videos I filmed are all clear!
Hope you enjoy reading this post and thank you for reading!!
Posting some photos of this concert. Not the best quality because all pictures are taken with my iPhone and please credit the photo if you are using, please! Thank you!!
Hope you enjoy the photos!!
