My first ever concert: Clean Bandit in Singapore
Before I start anything I would love to thank @xdaphnewee from Instagram for having this giveaway!! Because of her, I was able to attend the concert with a plus one! I’m quite sad that I didn’t manage to see her in person as she was sitting in another section!😢
So I won this tickets on January but it was cancelled as something bad happen which was one of the musicians got chicken pox. I was still damn worried and sad that I will not be able to watch them. As they might not come back to Singapore to perform.
After a few months, I saw Straitsetiquette times posting that they will be back and I was so happy!! Of cause I was still thinking that if I am still able to get the tickets I won previously. Just 2 weeks ago or less than that I received a SMS from the organisers about the collection of the tickets!!
I was actually quite hesitant when I realised that the concert was in between my two end semester test. Of cause, I wasn’t smart enough to not study at all. So after one of my tests was over she was at 12pm I studied until 5pm? And then I met my Friend and collected the tickets. Ate Eighteen Chef for my dinner which was typical polytechnic students food. What was funny is that my friend broke her spoon just before I said that I was going to broke mine.😂😂
We went in quite early is not because we are kiasu but is more like an etiquette that you should reach earlier than late for an event. To reduce any conflicts or problems for the people working there.
The concert was supposed to start at 8pm and we went in around 745pm. However, the concert started at 830 or later than that, which I would say I was kind of disappointed, luckily I had my friend to accompany and take lots of photos cause we were damn bored.
The whole concert was gooood the live experience of the singers and musicians, of cause it wasn’t the original singers but their voices were all so good!! Especially Grace, her voice was so clear and unique.
But there was something missing to me and my Friend was the atmosphere wasn’t the best like I which everyone would be more hype and crazy, like the crazier the more fun right? The crowd were kind of quiet to me. ( I mean just compare to those Korean groups they are a whole new level) Of cause, this atmosphere thing doesn’t stop me and my Friend from jumping and screaming. ( FYI we nearly lose our voice)
In general, I really love their music and live version was definitely super cool and awesome!! Hopefully, I will be able to afford more concerts next time!!
