// TWENTY SEVENTEEN //
2017 was a busy but one of the best year in my 18 years of living. Getting new friendship that I always wanted and hope we will last too!! I will split all the memories to different parts!! So try to spot yourself friends! <3
1.0 SCHOOL
School is always a big part of my life. I do not enjoy it but I have to. To me, school is majority about friends. If you do not have friends with you, school is just pure boring and plain.
1.1 Getting into PFP & ACER
Being in the one-year earlier in Singapore Polytechnic was one of my best choices in my life. I was able to know new friends through ACER especially PFP 16/17. I am super blessed to get a surprise from them and I couldn't be more grateful for them.
1.2 Being able to be GL of one of the new batch of PFP.
Having them as a junior feels great, I am thankful that I still keep in touch with them. Especially Nicole!! Thank you for all the memories this year!! <3
1.3 Joining Interaction Race
If you don't know what happen maybe you want to click here or see my previous post about this event! I would honestly say that I feel that I could have done better in leading the group. But I appreciate the friendship I made from this event!!
2.0 EVENTS
2017 was a year I sign up for quite a few events too!! I am super grateful and lucky to be able to attend the event!!
2.1 MAC Cosmetics with @Querramellca from Instagram.
I attended her workshop on learning how to contour. Honestly, I did not even learn things from the workshop as most of it was hands-on and like I was busy going around not knowing what to do. But I had fun talking and chatting with her and also her friends.
2.2 Lipton Discovery with Bellywellyjelly
This event was one of the best events I went for the year. Because the team brought us to 4 different places to represent different flavours of their tea. First was Scape, Little India, Botanic Garden and lastly, was Henderson Bridge. Every stop we were able to try one flavour of the tea!! I would say that all the tea taste amazing. I cannot even choose my favourite one because all taste super nice. I am super grateful for this opportunity because only 10 people can participate this event, and I was the lucky one to attend!!
2.3 Melissa's Birthday & Christmas Party
I was super blessed to also attend both of this event hosted by Melissa. Both had food for all the people that attend!! I met friends of different age and it is always so cool to know what they are working as and how they are coping with their life at that age. Because most of the events I went for many are at their 20+ age range.
2.4 Nike Event with Sandra
I had another plus one with me for this event. This event was my first time trying and going to a yoga lesson. I always wanted to try yoga but yoga classes can be a little out of budget. So this event allows me to try out new things that I always wanted to try!! I am so happy that my plus one aka Nicole enjoy the time there too!! Also, Sandra was just so pretty!! <3
2.5 First Ever Photoshoot: TokiChoi
I manage to get a chance to have a photoshoot with QiuQiu thanks to TokiChoi. I would say that the experience there was amazing. I was able to see how a set went and how does it work. From the setting to makeup. It was so surreal as I always wanted to have a photoshoot!! And it happened this year which was so cool to me!!
I would say that some of the event I actually risk my GPA to go. For example the Lipton trip
3.0 FRIENDS
FRIENDS are always a big part of my life, I always say to my close friends that sometimes I do prefer to be alone but most of the times when I am in school I always love to have friends by my side!!
3.1 06 Night Cycling
It was the first? outing after we graduated from PFP. I appreciate that some of you always want to meet up but due to our timetable, we always do not have time to meet up. I am so sorry guys!! I would love to have more outings with you guys soon!! But I must say that night cycle that day was pretty lit. Because of that one birthday song. I mean it was a joke and the manager was so serious about it!! It was so funny that we were just laughing all the way. I would never forget that. Thank you guys for always creating such funny and fun memories for me!!
3.2 JB Trip with part of Atlanteans
Firstly, I do not even know how to address all of us cause is just confusing. But I am super blessed that all of you are in my life. Because of you guys, my holiday wasn't as boring as I thought.
3.3 Primary School Friends
I am super lucky that I am still contacting my primary school friends. This year we even manage to went for cycling together. We definitely had a lot of fun that day. Plus I and one of them aka Fion had ShabuShabu for our lunch. It was super good!! I hope we can do it again during 2018!!
4.0 OTHERS
Others not related to this are like being overseas and more about me.
4.1 Travelling to KOREA
It is always a dream for me to go Korea!! Also, I went during April, which is actually close to cherry blossom season. But the sad thing was that we did not manage to see the full bloom, but at least we saw that only one tree that has bloomed in Seoul. I mean being a tourist and all the tourist just gather at that only tree to take all sort types of photos. I love the weather at that time, but the food was meh and it was quite pricey too!
4.2 Picking up new things
First would be calligraphy and second would be driving. Calligraphy was always something I wanted to do since young. So I am super glad that I am able to start doing that in 2017.
I have yet to put more things that so I shall make this part 1 and continue part next time when I am free because school has started and I have yet to catch up with my studies because of SPOH 2018.
