Review: Etude House Honey Jelly Lips Patch

Hello guys!! I am back with another review!! This review is actually long overdue, but I have taken some pictures so I shall not waste my effort and just talk about it here!! 

So we will be talking about the Honey Jelly Lips Patch. (I mean you can see from the title) Some information from the Etude House website it states that the lip patch helps to keep your lips nourished, elastic and moisturized with triple care from honey propolis and royal jelly. Just for your information many products actually contain honey as it helps in the moisturizing area. I had this product from my friend after my Korea trip which was around April and the weather compare to Singapore was quite different. As the weather was dry and cold which made my lips super dry when I was back in Singapore. So I took this chance to test out this product. 

For the product of the mask, I felt that it feels like a jelly and it was quite flimsy and slimy cause of the liquid you can see from the package. 

From the GIF you can see from the top I actually had difficulty using the product as it falls off so easily!! Which means when you are using this you will not be able to sit up or walk around and the only thing you can is to just lie down and use your phone or read a book.

This is actually this picture after the 15 minutes of masking with all the dropping of the lip mask.

You can actually see how the patch already starts to have a hole because it is quite thin and fragile. Especially, because I have to take photos, the patch actually fell a few times.

I felt that my lip was moisturize after that the session!! At the start of everything, I actually thought that this product that will not work. Because lip masks are not very popular in this industry. Honestly speaking most of the lip products do not work as what they say.

So as I say that this product does work by moisturizing my peeling lip from Korea trip! Before I used this lip patch my lip had a peeling situation that wasn't really healing even after putting Vaseline and my lip balm. For the moment after I finish the mask session I did not feel any dramatic changes is just the next day my lip was super soft and it wasn't peeling anymore!! Which means the lip patch did work which I am super happy about!

Now let's talk about the pros and cons of this product.

Pros
- Moisturize your lips
-Need a short time to see the effect ( if it is a minor case of dryness)

Cons
- Restriction of movement (falls super easily due to the properties of the lip patch)
- Unable to speak
- Price ($4.90) a bit too high

So I think overall for this product it a type of product you can use if you have the money and also the time to just lie down on the bed and do nothing.

Hence, I will rate this a 6/10!
