Sing!Concordia
Finally have time to write a post!! I did right a post about Lizzie event but there was a problem posting . Hence i just going to write about my choir concert! Our second Woodland Ring Secondary School Choir Concert!! Sing!Concordia!
So we started practising seriously and officially on the Thursday and Friday (9th and 10th October ) Before the Thursday and Friday , it was all a few weeks of examination . So all of the choir members and teachers are all busy with a lot of things!
So Thursday and Friday we had practice from 8am to 6pm . So it was tiring but we still did our best in practicing!! So the concert was on a Saturday 11 October!! Our instructor had told us not to have fried food heaty food and have a good rest by having at least 10 hours of sleep!
However , I didn't have that much of sleep but i was still able to keep myself awake!We have to reach school by 930am so my and JingNing had a breakfast date together and we met about 8am . We were a but late and we reach Republic Polytechnic about 1230 if I'm not wrong! Before going to RP we had had our lunch! After that , we put and hang all the stuff in the room and zooom we go to the stage and started practicing or we can say we start rehearsing !!
After rehearsal , we have to finish our dinner and start to change to our ethnic costume and put on all the makeup and stuff! Next we had a 10 minutes of power nap which i didn't have it , cause i was wearing contact lens and it not recommended to sleep with it , so i just rest a side.
After power nap, we have our last mouth of water and off we go! Bur before that it was a tradition for the WRS Choir to have a talk by our teachers and instructor and also to have a little while to pray that we will have a good concert. Therefore , after that we started the concert!
After a 15 minutes break for the audience we do not have any break as we have to change and we only have 9 minutes yes 9 minutes for us to change. But all of us still manage to change into our outfit which was quite impressive!! After that we continue with the concert!
Finally , the concert ended we have to clean the room and than we had a photo taking time and also a debrief from teachers and instructor!! Our teachers were so kind that they have gave each one of us little gifts!
Really appreciate people that came for this concert and also our teachers and instructor for being at our side every time during choir!!
